Business Ethics Code

1. Topic

ne ekersen Inc. ("ne ekersen") bases its corporate responsibility approach on the law and the principles of business ethics. This ne ekersen Code of Business Ethics ("Code") has been established with the aim of creating a common corporate culture, protecting and developing the corporate culture, improving the behavior of employees, meeting the expectations of business partners and being a responsible company towards society.

2. Scope

The code covers not only ne ekersen employees, but also all business partners acting on behalf of or providing services to the company.

3. Content

The responsibilities of ne ekersen and its employees under the Code are listed below:

3.1. ne ekersen's Responsibilities towards its Employees

ne ekersen;

  • It completely meets its legal obligations towards its employees and, in cases where the laws are insufficient, it respects the rights of employees within the framework of ethical principles.
  • In all human resources processes from recruitment to remuneration, it does not discriminate in any way based on age, gender, race, religion, language, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, belief, marital, social or economic status, disability, pregnancy or military service status, etc. It does not interfere with the private lives of employees.
  • In recruitment, promotion and appointments, it takes into account the qualifications suitable for the task and creates equality of opportunity among employees.
  • Treats its employees with respect, does not allow any employee to be mistreated, verbally or physically harassed.
  • It safeguards, processes, and shares personal information about employees obtained through various channels in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law.
  • Organizes trainings on issues that will ensure the business and personal development of employees.
  • It creates healthy and safe working conditions at the level required by laws and conditions and tries to improve them within the limits of possibilities.

3.2. Responsibilities of Employees towards ne ekersen

The employees of ne ekersen;

  • ne ekersen acts in accordance with the Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy and rejects any material and immaterial offers that may come from third parties for the purpose of directing these activities while conducting activities within their areas of responsibility.
  • Avoids situations that may create a risk of conflict of interest (e.g. working for close family members, having one-on-one business relations with companies in which they are partners or owners, or giving and receiving gifts) and acts in such a situation only with the approval of his/her managers.
  • Demonstrates the utmost care and attention while performing the tasks assigned to them.
  • Avoids any actions or behaviors that would damage the reputation of ne ekersen.
  • Protects company assets, prevents damage and uses them for their intended purpose.
  • They do not leak confidential and private information outside the company and act responsibly when using social media.

3.3. ne ekersen's Responsibilities towards its Business Partners

ne ekersen;

  • Complies with the laws of the countries in which it operates.
  • Acts fairly in competition.
  • Does not condone bribery. It does not gain unfair gain from individuals and organizations for any purpose whatsoever.
  • Checks that the continuous services received from other organizations are provided in accordance with the law and makes the necessary follow-up.
  • Complies with privacy laws. Does not share confidential information of business partners with third parties without their permission.

3.4. ne ekersen's Responsibilities to Society

ne ekersen;

  • It aims to fulfill its tax and other legal obligations fully and on time and to be an example to the society.
  • Does not use condescending, sarcastic and offensive expressions about other institutions and organizations, products and persons.
  • In its activities, it takes care not to harm the nature and to act in accordance with the culture of the society in which it operates.

Violation Notification and Sanctions

All our employees are responsible for reporting any situations they encounter or suspect in relation to the Code to their managers and/or our company's communication channels without delay.

Violation of this Code by our suppliers, contractors and other business partners will result in termination of the contract.

Code violations by our employees are handled by the relevant departments and reported to the management. Violations of this Code may result in the termination of our employees' employment contracts.
